Meet Courtney
I've been a nurse for 23 years, beginning my career in the Pediatric ICU at Johns Hopkins, where I developed a love for high-acuity medicine, fast-paced environments, and supporting patients and families through some of their most challenging moments.
I later transitioned into cardiology as a nurse practitioner, working in both interventional and outpatient settings. I thrived in procedural medicine and built meaningful, long-term relationships with my patients.
During my cardiology career, I discovered a passion for vein treatments — including laser procedures, sclerotherapy, and other minimally invasive techniques. As colleagues and patients encouraged me to explore aesthetic medicine, I realized it was the perfect blend of procedural skill, artistry, and patient care.
That passion led me to create Aurela Aesthetic. My goal is to help patients age gracefully while providing the highest level of safety, attention to detail, and personalized care — offering neurotoxins, chemical peels, microneedling, and customized treatment plans designed to help you look and feel your best.
